Ingredients:

Salt: 1 tsp
Flour: 450 g
Melted butter: 100 g
Vegetable oil: 100 g
For the Filling:
Potato: 1 piece
Onion: 1 piece
Meat (ground or finely chopped): 250 g
Salt and spices: to taste
For the Glaze:
Egg yolk: 1
Milk: 1 tsp
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, mix 300 ml of water with 1 teaspoon of salt.
Gradually add 450 g of flour, stirring constantly until a dough forms.
Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Filling:
Peel and grate the potato.
Finely chop the onion.
In a pan, heat a mixture of 100 g melted butter and 100 g vegetable oil.
Add the grated potato, chopped onion, and 250 g of meat to the pan.
Cook until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender.
Season with salt and spices to taste. Let the filling cool.
Assemble the Pastries:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3 mm.
Cut the dough into small squares or circles.
Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each piece of dough.
Fold the dough over the filling and shape into small balls or parcels.
Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Pastries:
In a small bowl, mix 1 egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of milk.
Brush the top of each pastry with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
Serve:
Remove the pastries from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
