Ingredients:
3 potatoes
Salt
Cooking oil
Instructions:
Boil the potatoes until tender. You can check for doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the center of a potato. If it goes in easily with no resistance, the potato is done.

Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork. Season with salt.
Add the flour to the mashed potatoes and mix well until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the potatoes tough.
Divide the potato dough into equal parts. You can shape them into any desired form, like patties or logs.
Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. The oil should be hot enough for frying, around 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Carefully add the potato shapes to the hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Transfer the fried potatoes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Here are some additional tips for making incredibly crispy potatoes:
Use russet potatoes for this recipe, as they have a high starch content which will help to crisp up the potatoes.
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the potatoes. If the oil is not hot enough, the potatoes will not crisp up properly.
Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying the potatoes. This will lower the temperature of the oil and make it more difficult for the potatoes to crisp up.
Let the potatoes cool slightly before serving so that they are easier to handle.
