Ingredients:
40 g butter
70 g sugar
3 eggs
120 g sugar
100 ml milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar
6 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
100 g walnuts
Vegetable fat
Honey
Coconut flakes
Instructions:
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a baking dish with vegetable fat.
Prepare the Apples:
Peel and core the apples.
Cut the apples into thin slices.
Caramelizing the Apples:
In a pan, melt 40 g of butter over medium heat.
Add 70 g of sugar and stir until it starts to caramelize.
Add the apple slices and cook until they are soft and caramelized.
Making the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with 120 g of sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add 100 ml of milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla sugar.
Mix well.
Gradually add 6 tablespoons of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking soda, mixing until smooth.
Chop the walnuts and fold them into the batter.
Assembling the Pie:
Pour half of the batter into the greased baking dish.
Spread the caramelized apples evenly over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter over the apples.
Baking:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Finishing Touch:
Once the pie is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Drizzle honey over the top of the pie.
Sprinkle coconut flakes generously over the honey.
Serving:
Cut the pie into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
