A forgotten dessert by many. My grandmother prepared this sweet “tea” sausage for me as a child.

A long-forgotten recipe for “Tea sausage”…

Break the cookies with your hands or crush them with a rolling pin and place them in a bag.

Mix cocoa with sugar.

Cut the butter into pieces and melt in a saucepan, then add the milk and add the cocoa and sugar mixture.

Place the saucepan on the stove and heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved (but do not bring to a boil!). Remove from heat and stir in crushed biscuits until thick.

Form the mixture into sausages, wrap them in cling film and refrigerate for 6 hours. Then slice like sausage. You can replace sugar with condensed milk, and also add walnuts to the cookies.
