Today I will tell you about making a sweet pie using a universal dough, which is ideal for any berries, be it currants or apples. I use frozen berries for the filling – there is no need to defrost them.
Using a mixer significantly speeds up the process and makes the dough especially tender.
Cooking process:
Beat 2 eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat until fluffy and light.
After this, add sugar and continue whisking until it is completely dissolved. Add vanillin or vanilla sugar to taste.

Mix soft butter with vegetable oil, stirring lightly.
Then add flour and baking powder, stirring quickly until smooth.
The dough turns out quite thick and is easy to pour into the mold.
Preparing the form:
Grease a baking dish (size 27×20 cm) with butter and lightly sprinkle with semolina to avoid sticking.
Baking:
Pour the dough into the mold and spread it evenly over the surface.

I sprinkle frozen berries on top, in my case currants. Since it is sour, I add a little sugar on top.
Place the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°C, and bake for 35 minutes. Time may vary depending on your oven.
After turning off the oven, I leave the pie in the closed oven for another 5 minutes and then take it out.
It turns out incredibly delicious! Try it if you haven’t done it before – it’s really simple. If your recipe is similar, I’m glad I reminded you of this method of preparation.
