BREAKFAST EGG BACON SANDWICH HACK | Crispy One Pan Egg Toast

Ingredients (for 1 toast)

200g bacon (or sausage)

2 eggs

2 slices of toast

2 tbsp butter

2 slices of Cheddar cheese

100g mozzarella cheese, grated

Salt & black pepper to taste

– Instructions:

Cook the Bacon: In a large non-stick skillet, cook the bacon (or sausage) over medium heat until crispy.

Remove from the pan and set aside.

Prepare the Toast: Spread butter on one side of each toast slice.

Cook the Eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and let them cook for a minute until the whites start to set.

Assemble the Sandwich: Place one slice of toast, buttered side down, into the skillet, next to the eggs.

Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top of the toast.

Carefully flip one of the eggs onto the toast. Place a slice of Cheddar cheese on top of the egg, followed by the cooked bacon.

Add another layer of mozzarella cheese.

Add the Second Toast: Carefully flip the second egg on top of the bacon and cheese layers.

Place the second slice of toast, buttered side up, on top of the egg.

Grill the Sandwich: Press down gently with a spatula and let the sandwich cook for a minute or two until the bottom toast is golden and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and crispy.

Serve: Once the cheese is melted and the sandwich is cooked to your desired crispiness, remove it from the skillet. Slice in half and serve hot, seasoned with salt and black pepper to taste.
