This dessert is a real treat and ideal for special occasions or just to treat yourself. Let’s get straight to the preparation!


Ingredients

  • 1 pack of ladyfingers
  • 30 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 200 g Nutella
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 200 g powdered sugar (finely sifted)
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 kg mascarpone
  • 1 cup of espresso or mocha (cold)

preparation

1. Prepare the mascarpone cream
Start by beating the 8 egg yolks with the fine icing sugar in a large bowl until creamy. This may take a few minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Then gently fold the mascarpone into the egg yolk and sugar mixture until everything is well combined. Be careful not to lose the fluffy consistency.

2. Layer the ladyfingers
Take a large baking dish and place a layer of ladyfingers on the bottom.

Quickly dip the ladyfingers into the cold espresso or mocha so that they soak up the coffee slightly but don’t become too soft.

3. Layer the tiramisu
Now spread a generous layer of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Put 200 g of Nutella on the mascarpone cream and smooth everything out.

Place another layer of ladyfingers (also soaked in espresso or mocha) on top.

4. Cooling
Cover the tiramisu with cling film and place it in the fridge for at least 6 hours. It is even better if you refrigerate it overnight so that the flavours can infuse properly.

5. Decoration
Before serving, take the tiramisu out of the fridge. Dust the surface with the cocoa powder and sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts evenly over the top to add an extra crunch and flavor.


Serve

Cut the tiramisu into pieces and serve chilled. This Nutella tiramisu is a wonderful combination of creamy mascarpone, intense coffee flavour and the sweet pleasure of Nutella – a real treat for all chocolate lovers!
