This hake in marinara sauce recipe isn’t half as complicated as you think. It’s a great dish that goes with any simple side dish and that everyone will love.

6 hake fillets
1 glass of white wine
160 grams of peeled prawns
120 grams of Surimi or crab sticks
1 white onion
1 red pepper
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of garlic paste
1 splash of olive oil
Preparation:
To start making our hake in marinara sauce recipe, the first step will be to prepare all the ingredients.
Bring a pan to medium heat, add a teaspoon of olive oil and sauté the white onion with a little salt and pepper to taste. You need to fry until our onion is transparent.
Once the onion is transparent, add the chili pepper cut into squares and sauté for about 5-10 minutes. Turn off the heat as soon as you see that the sauce is ready.
Reserve the sautéed vegetables to use later in our hake in marinara sauce recipe.
Next, place another pan over a medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil and once hot add the hake fillets with a little salt and pepper to taste. Brown on each side for about 4-5 minutes.
Add the prawns and crab sticks to the pan where we have our hake fillets.
Add the sauce along with some garlic paste and dried oregano to taste to make the marinara sauce. Leave to rest for a few minutes.
Finally add the white wine and tomato paste, you must mix very well until all the ingredients of our hake are integrated into the marinara sauce. Let it rest for a couple more minutes and turn off the heat.
Serve our hake fillets in marinara sauce, basting each with a good portion of sauce.
Have fun!
