Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 125 g butter, cold
- 100 g sugar
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions: - Combine flour, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolk, salt, and vanilla extract in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 5 mm thick. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- After baking, let the vanilla stars cool and then dust with powdered sugar.
