Now, if we combine them, it attracts even more ants and becomes a very effective trap. In other words, boric acid mixed with sugar never fails. Also, consider that the ants will carry this mixture back to their nests, and the entire colony will consume it, thus killing them all.

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp. of boric acid
• 3 glasses of hot water
• 1 cup of white sugar
• 1 Pot with lid
• Cotton pads or swabs

Procedure

1. To begin, in a container we make the mixture of boric acid and the cup of sugar.
2. Then, we slowly add the hot water and with the help of a spoon we mix until it dissolves well.
3. Next step, we pour it into the pot with a lid.
4. Next, we take a cotton swab or pad and dip it in the mixture, then place it on a small plate. Remember, don’t put your hands or fingers directly into the mixture.
5. Once we detect where the ants are passing through the home or where they are settling, we place the plate with the cotton soaked in boric acid there.
6. We will leave it there for 1 day, it is essential  to keep children and pets away from the dish.
